Job Description:
A company is looking for a PAC Nurse (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Manage length of stay for post-acute care facilities through
telephonic collaboration
Authorize continued stays and determine medical necessity using
clinical expertise
Act as a clinical resource for unlicensed staff and communicate
with facility personnel
Required Qualifications and Education
Current and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or
Registered Nurse
Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing/Practical Nursing or
equivalent
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a healthcare setting
Expertise in Utilization Management and knowledge of URAC & NCQA
standards
Broad knowledge of healthcare delivery regulations and
evidence-based care guidelines
