As a DevOps Engineer for the CapitalOne Developer Platform you will play a crucial role in innovating databases like Oracle, Aurora, PostgreSQL and building automation with DevOps principles for AWS services like RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch with CI/CD tools like Jenkins. You will be working on highly impactful work for the Capital One Auto Finance line of business. If you are passionate about cloud and automation and are excited to work with innovative technologies, then join our team and help shape the future of Developer Platform What You---ll Do: Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Ruby and Go, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS tools and services Basic Qualifications: Bachelor---s degree At least 3 years of experience in DevOps Engineering (Internship experience does not apply) At least 2 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) At least 2 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience with Terraform or Ansible 2 years of experience with container orchestration services including Docker or Kubernetes 2 experience with coding and scripting (Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl or Ruby) 2 years of experience working with Agile Development Practices At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, or another type of work authorization).
