Job Description:
Fort Worth Boat Club is a growing members-only club based in
Fort Worth that offers its employees a higher pay range with the
option of benefits and insurance and full time availability. The
Fort Worth Boat Club is respected and honored as one of the oldest
clubs in Fort Worth. We are known for the great care we take of our
members and employees. We're looking for a Sous Chef with previous
experience. The pay range we are offering is $18-$23 hourly based
upon experience. A high school diploma is desired as well but it is
not required. Background checks and drug screenings are required
before employment. A Sous Chef reports to the Executive Chef and
Food and Beverage Director. Duties: Prepare all food according to
chef's instructions and recipes. Develop creative new menus Must
work clean and be efficient Oversee station set-up and organization
Help maintain the cleanliness of kitchen Provides leadership and
direction for multiple employees Maintain an inventory of fresh
produce at all times Set up, maintain and break down work station
Notify Chef in advance of expected product shortages Requisition
supplies as needed to prepare menu items Maintain neat professional
appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules at all times
Adhere to state and local health and safety regulations Perform all
work related duties as assigned by Chef or Sous Chef. Special
Requirements: Must be able to Read, Write and Speak Fluent English.
Must treat others with kindness and respect Ability to appear for
work on time Ability to understand, follow rules and procedures
directed by Managers Physical Functions: While performing the
duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, climb
stairs, balance stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and/or sit up to eight
hours per day. Hearing and talking sufficient enough to communicate
with managers and co-workers. Specific vision abilities include
close vision, vision sufficient enough to read, distance vision,
color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability
to adjust focus. Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs.
