Job Description:
A company is looking for a Healthcare Research Systems
Programmer/Analyst.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize coding expertise to query, merge, and analyze complex
healthcare data from large relational databases
Develop and maintain SAS, SQL, or Python code, focusing on
efficiency and process improvements
Collaborate with project teams to translate business requirements
into programming logic and mentor fellow programmers
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics,
social sciences, health policy, or related field with at least 8
years of programming experience, or a Master's degree with at least
6 years of experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience with Python, SAS, or SQL
analytical coding
Experience with relational databases such as Teradata, Snowflake,
or Oracle
Healthcare industry experience and knowledge of healthcare
terminology
Demonstrated understanding of analytic programming quality and best
practices
