• Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support: AHA ONLY, different requirements based on the unit.
• BLS - Basic Life Support: AHA ONLY, not required for SPTs.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support: Required for ER, PACU, GI Lab
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure: Required for L&D and NICU
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course: Required for ER
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring: Required for L&D
• Tech Cert Verification - National: For Allied/Non-RN Candidates
• ENPC: Acceptable in lieu of PALS for ER
• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing: Required for all RNs and Cath Lab Techs
• State License Verification: Verification of licensure required
• NIH Stroke Certification: Required for specific units
• Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication): Required for specific nursing units and all RNs
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam
  • Job Details
  • Cath Lab RN 4x10 DAYS
  • 7-10 call shifts/month (call shifts are 1730-0700, weekend call also required)
  • Required Work Setting Experience: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, Hybrid OR, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Special Procedures
  • 2 years of prior Cath Lab RN experience required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Scrubs provided
    • Job Requirements
    • Required Experience: Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures (e.g., Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, etc.)
    • EP Procedures (Pacemaker insertion)
    • Vascular Studies/Procedures (e.g., Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, etc.)
    • IV Therapy (Assist with Central Line Insertion/management, Starting IVs)
    • Mandatory certifications: BLS, ACLS
