Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coding Auditor I to perform coding
quality audits and provide feedback to coders.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine coding quality reviews on coders, including
third-party suppliers
Abstract and validate required data elements into the coding and
abstracting system
Collaborate with Clinical Documentation Specialists to enhance
documentation accuracy
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
5 years of coding experience, including at least 1 year as a coding
auditor
Certification in one of the following: CCS, CCS-P, CIC, CIRCC, COC,
CPC, RHIA, or RHIT
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding
Proficiency in computer applications and coding guidelines
