Job Description:
Job summary - Perform Utilization Review of select workers'
compensation cases, comparing treatment episodes to clinical
criteria for certification or referral to medical director.
Requirements:
1) Valid Texas RN with at least 3 years of prior managed care
and/or UR experience preferred. Candidate must have excellent
written, oral and computer skills; the ability to work in a
fast-paced deadline-driven environment; and outstanding telephone
customer service.
OR:
2) Valid Texas LVN with at least 3 years of doing pharmacy UR on
workers’ compensation claims. Candidate must have excellent
written, oral and computer skills; the ability to work in a
fast-paced deadline-driven environment; and outstanding telephone
customer service
